In Arthur's career as a professional cricket administrator he was Chief Executive Officer of the Griqualand West Cricket Union, Orange Free State Cricket Union and Western Province Cricket Association, as well as Commercial Director of Glamorgan County Cricket Club. Throughout that time he also managed eleven test matches, twenty-five one-day internationals and the 2003 Cricket World Cup at Newlands. He commercialised the Newlands, Springbok Park (Goodyear Park) and Sophia Gardens cricket stadiums.

The experience Arthur has gained over many years working with high profile players has equipped him well to manage international and professional sportspersons regarding their employment needs and the sourcing of other opportunities, both commercially and financially.
